Born in France to Algerian immigrant parents, Lilia has a deep, personal understanding
of the challenges faced by individuals seeking refuge in a new country. As an immigrant
herself, she is passionately committed to helping others navigate the complex
immigration system in the United States.
Lilia earned her law degree in France, where she specialized in International Law and
Human Rights Law. Her academic background in these fields laid the foundation for her
strong dedication to humanitarian causes and her ability to provide knowledgeable legal
guidance.
In July 2024, Lilia successfully passed the New York Bar, marking an important
milestone in her legal career. At the Nemecek Firm, she focuses on helping asylum
seekers, providing them with the compassionate and skilled legal representation they
deserve. Her work is guided by her belief in justice, fairness, and the protection of
human rights.
