Born in France to Algerian immigrant parents, Lilia brings a deeply personal perspective to her work as an immigration attorney. Having experienced the immigrant journey herself, she is passionately committed to guiding others through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system.

Lilia earned her law degree in France with a specialization in International Law and Human Rights Law. This academic foundation not only sharpened her legal expertise but also reinforced her dedication to humanitarian advocacy and justice.

In July 2024, she achieved a major milestone by passing the New York Bar. Today, as part of The Nemecek Firm, Lilia focuses her practice on asylum law—offering compassionate, knowledgeable representation to individuals seeking safety and a new start.

Driven by a strong belief in justice and human dignity, Lilia’s mission is to support as many asylum seekers as possible. She proudly uses both her legal training and lived experience to fight for those most in need of protection and opportunity.
